Two Addison Trail seniors named as Daily Herald Academic Team Honorable Mentions

Addison Trail seniors Eric Gilliam and Margarita “Maggie” Sumbulla have been named as 2014-15 Daily Herald Academic Team Honorable Mentions for DuPage County.

That honor recognizes graduating high school seniors who have an exemplary academic record, ambitious goals and have been outstanding citizens of their high schools.

Gilliam and Sumbulla were nominated by Addison Trail, and a panel of judges reviewed the applications for the Academic Team throughout the Daily Herald readership area. As Honorable Mentions, the judges recognize the commitment and effort Gilliam and Sumbulla have put forth in their studies. They were featured in a special edition of the Daily Herald’s Neighbor section on May 21, along with the other honorable mentions and the Academic Team members.
