Addison Trail students participate in economics field trip

On Nov. 5, 32 Addison Trail students visited Chicago Board Options Exchange and Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

The students participated in the field trip as part of their economics class with teacher Tom Hubner. During the trip, students learned about monetary policy at Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and were able to experience financial markets at Chicago Board Options Exchange. They were joined by State Sen. Tom Cullerton (D, District 23) and also met with Ed Provost, Chief Operating Officer and President of Chicago Board Options Exchange.
