Addison Trail welcomes Mayor of Triggiano, Italy

On Oct. 14, Addison Trail welcomed a special guest.

Vincenzo Denicolò, Mayor of Triggiano, Italy, was in town, and he stopped by to tour the school and speak with students and staff. Triggiano and Addison have a student-exchange program as part of Sister Cities, through which Addison Trail students travel to Italy, and students from Italy stay with families in Addison. Denicolò visited Addison from Oct. 11 to 21 in support of that program.

While at Addison Trail, Denicolò enjoyed seeing the facilities, stepping inside classrooms to meet students and eating lunch with building and District 88 administrators. Sister Cities also hosted a dinner for Denicolò that day at Addison Village Hall.
