Throughout September and into October, more than 400 students from the Addison Trail class of 2018 attended field trips to University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Students toured the campus and were able to eat lunch near the lake. Along with learning about the campus and the social and academic activities available, students also were informed about the vast history of the university. This is the ninth year Addison Trail freshmen have participated in visits to University of Wisconsin-Madison.
“We believe the trips give students an opportunity to learn about college, and they are able to experience the opportunities that would be available to them at college campuses,” said Kevin Redding, Addison Trail Director of Guidance. “Many of these students have not been on a college campus, and we hope it motivates them to work hard to attend a four-year college or university.”
