Team of three Addison Trail students earns honorable mention in live digital photo competition

On Oct. 15, Addison Trail senior Ashley Barajas Martinez, senior Alison Rodriguez and junior Karol Echeverria participated as a team in the virtual Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE) / ArtConnectED Digital Photo Throwdown competition and earned an honorable mention.

The Art Throwdown is a live, fast-paced visual arts event, where students put their artistic skills to the test in a competition against other area high-schoolers. Each artist is given 90 minutes to complete a hands-on, visually creative challenge in various art disciplines and media such as drawing, painting, design, sculpture and digital photography.
