On Oct. 13, Addison Trail Learning Services Teacher Rebecca “Becca” Vogt was named as this year’s recipient of Jet Brite Car Wash’s “Teacher Sweeps.” She's pictured above (third from left), with Jet Brite representatives and her coworkers at Addison Trail.

According to https://jetbrite.zipscarwash.com/press/teachers-giveaway-jb, Jet Brite launched the initiative this year to “give Chicagoland communities a meaningful way to recognize the educators who make a difference every day … Teacher Sweeps (is) a back-to-school giveaway designed to celebrate exceptional teachers and help provide the classroom supplies they need for a successful school year.”

Vogt was nominated by District 88 Student Supervisor Vanessa Taylor. As the winner, Vogt received a gift bag and a $500 gift card to help clear her classroom wish list.

Vogt has been a teacher in the Learning Services Department at Addison Trail since 2020, and she also is an adviser for the school’s Interact Club.
