Addison Trail Athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Kearsten Nardulli (pictured at right) as the next Head Coach of the Cheer Team.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Nardulli and have her lead our cheerleading program into its next chapter," said Humberto Ayala, Addison Trail Assistant Principal for Athletics & Operations. “We are confident she is the right person to build on our program’s history and lead us into a successful future.”
Cheerleading has been part of Nardulli’s life since she was 7 years old, and she began coaching while in high school. She has coached with the Bensenville Bandits, All Star Cheer and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). Under Nardulli’s leadership, her teams have earned a NCA National Championship, as well as 14 IHSA State Tournament appearances and one finals qualification.
Nardulli serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois High School Cheerleading Coaches Organization (IHSCCO). Through that group, she is the Mentor Chair and helps new coaches get the most out of their time in the IHSA and pairs them with veteran coaches.
Nardulli said her focus as the new Head Coach of the Addison Trail Cheer Team is to create a fun, positive and hardworking environment, where athletes feel supported and motivated to be their best.
“My goal is to build a strong team culture centered on accountability, teamwork and growth both on and off the mat,” she said. “I want our athletes to feel proud to be part of the program, make lasting memories and, of course, add another trip to the IHSA State Tournament Finals.”
