Addison Trail and District 88 are committed to helping students build positive futures and post-secondary success.
As part of that focus, Addison Trail hosted a Career Week from March 23 to 27. Highlights included:
Monday, March 23:
On March 23, students had the opportunity to film “What I want to be when I grow up” video segments to think about and share what they plan to do after high school.
Tuesday, March 24:

Wednesday, March 25:
On March 25, students had the opportunity to attend Addison Trail’s “Dream. Plan. Do. – From the Halls to the Hustle” future-focused speaker series. The event featured presentations from three professionals, who were once students walking the halls of high school – just like current Addison Trail pupils – and are now making their mark in a variety of careers. Thursday, March 26:
On March 26, students had the opportunity to attend a Career Fair that featured about 30 organizations to learn about a variety of career options, including the trades, military and College of DuPage skilled career programs. Friday, March 27:
On March 27, Addison Trail staff members shared with students how they “Blazed their trail” through talking about their personal career journey and experiences.
District 88 is committed to providing multiple and flexible pathways for students to ensure they are college and career ready and continues to partner with colleges/universities and local businesses to expand these opportunities.
