Addison Trail hosts inaugural Academic Fest

On March 19, more than 100 Addison Trail students presented their best work during the school’s first Academic Fest. Items included research projects, complex math solutions, art pieces, engineering designs and more.

More than 600 people attended/participated in the event, which was hosted by Addison Trail's Library Media Center, Student Council, National Honor Society (NHS), Key Club and Hispanic Organization for Leadership and Achievement (HOLA) Club.

Attendees had the opportunity to experience and view firsthand the critical thinking and creativity of Addison Trail students. They also were able to enjoy an interactive art exhibit, entertainment provided by Addison Trail music/dance/performance groups, craft areas and a free children’s book fair.

The evening was similar to a professional conference for high schoolers and was a way to connect with the next generation of leaders and innovators.
