From March 16 to 20, Addison Trail hosted its annual Physical Education (PE) Week, where students and staff participate in wellness-related activities and contests to encourage a healthy lifestyle and to enhance school spirit.
Highlights of the week included:
On March 18, Addison Trail’s “PE Week Coffee” tradition continued, which is an event for staff members to enjoy light refreshments and conversation with their coworkers. This year marked the 50th anniversary celebration for the event.
On March 19, Addison Trail hosted a blood drive for Vitalant. Fifty-seven people participated, and the event collected 49 productive pints of blood. To read more about the event, click on the image above (or go to www.dupage88.net/site/page/17386).
On March 20, Addison Trail hosted its annual Superstars Assembly (the culminating event of PE Week), where classes and staff go head to head in a variety of fun/sports-related competitions. To watch the assembly, click on the video above. Below are the results.
