Addison Trail students participate in Midwestern University’s Health Sciences Career Day

On March 3, 17 Addison Trail students participated in a Health Sciences Career Day at Midwestern University’s Downers Grove Campus (pictured above). Those pupils are enrolled in the school’s Medical Careers course or have indicated an interest in pursuing a career in the health care industry.

During the event, high school juniors and seniors rotated through hands-on workshops and tours to experience a variety of professions of medicine and other health care career opportunities.

Addison Trail students attended sessions on clinical psychology, speech language pathology and precision medicine. They also visited the university’s Gross Anatomy Lab.
