Addison Trail math teacher presents during conference

On Feb. 27, Addison Trail math teacher Andy Mitchell (pictured above) presented during the West Suburban Math Conference at Glenbard North High School.

Through Mitchell’s session, titled “Get Your Game On!,” more than 200 teachers learned how to incorporate ready-to-implement games into their lessons and classrooms. Participants received access to a Google Folder containing all of the games and materials, which can be integrated into notes, warmups, homework, exit slips and review activities. The information was geared toward students in sixth through twelfth grades.

During the session, attendees actively participated in the games and had an opportunity to win some of Mitchell’s favorite math stickers as prizes.
