Two Addison Trail seniors named as Commended Students in 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program

Addison Trail seniors Emily Moy (pictured, at left) and Mary-Terese Tamondong (pictured, at right) have been named as Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program, conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the U.S. are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Although they will not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarship awards, Commended Students placed among the top 50,000 scorers of those who entered the 2026 competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).
