District 88 Board of Education members recognized during Addison Community Inauguration Ceremony

On April 24, the District 88 Board of Education members who were elected during the April 1 Consolidated Election were recognized during the Village of Addison’s Community Inauguration Ceremony.

Board members Christine “Chris” Poirier, Diana Stout and Jean Taylor were honored, along with elected officials/board members from each taxing body in Addison. All three are incumbent board members, who will continue to serve the District 88 learning community through a second four-year term. They will be officially sworn into office during the April 28 District 88 Board of Education meeting and will join board members Donna Craft Cain, Amy Finnegan, Gail Galivan and Dan Olson.

Craft Cain, who is the current District 88 Board of Education President, thanked the Village of Addison for hosting the inauguration; applauded the elected officials for serving their community; congratulated Poirier, Stout and Taylor on their continued passion and dedication; and shared highlights and areas of focus for District 88.
