Addison Trail Blazettes to host tryouts for 2025-26 school year

Attention, current and incoming Blazers! The Addison Trail Blazettes (Poms) Team will host tryouts on May 7 for students who are interested in joining the group for the 2025-26 school year.

Blazettes is Addison Trail’s competitive dance team that competes in IHSA dance competitions, along with performing during varsity football and basketball games. The season runs from June to February. Blazettes continue to show their Blazer Pride by being positive role models within the school and community, as they take part in various school and community events.

To help students prepare, an open gym session and two tryout clinics will take place. See the details below.

What: The open gym session and tryout clinics will focus on technique and choreography. Attending the open gym session isn’t required, but is highly recommended. Tryout clinics are mandatory. 

When: 

• Open gym session: 3:30 to 5 p.m. on April 16, 2025
  
  
• Tryout clinics: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. on May 5 and 6, 2025
  
  
• Tryouts: Starting at 3:30 p.m. on May 7, 2025

Where: Addison Trail High School, 213 N. Lombard Road in Addison (in the Dance Gym)
