Addison Trail offers tutoring program to help students achieve academic success

District 88 strives to ensure students are academically successful, and the district implements systems of support to accomplish that goal.

Addison Trail is offering a tutoring program to help students who are struggling academically get back on track. Students are recommended for the program through a teacher referral, and tutors are available in math, science, English and social studies. Parents can request their student's teacher completes a referral, if they feel tutoring is necessary.

Tutors work with classroom teachers to help students reach their academic goals, and students participate in the program until they receive passing grades in their classes. The tutoring program is just one example of how Addison Trail and Willowbrook work to fulfill the district’s mission of working for the continuous improvement of student achievement.
