Addison Public Library to host Italian Heritage Open House

Be sure to stop by the Addison Public Library on Oct. 27 to join District 88 Superintendent Dr. Jean Barbanente for a presentation about Addison Trail’s Italian courses and the Village of Addison Sister Cities student-exchange program with Triggiano, Italy, where Addison Trail students have the opportunity to travel to Italy.

Dr. Barbanente will present during an Italian Heritage Open House hosted by the library. See the details below.

What: The event will feature Italian music, crafts and coloring sheets for kids, a Mona Lisa photo booth, coffee and cookies, the library’s curated Italian media collections and information from local organizations, including:

  • Village of Addison Sister Cities student-exchange program with Triggiano, Italy

  • Village of Addison

  • Addison Historical Society

  • Maria de la Croce Society

  • Americans of Italian Descent

  • CASA ITALIA

When: 2 to 4 p.m. on Oct. 27, 2024
