Addison Trail hosts annual mixed junior varsity golf invitational

On Sept. 21, Addison Trail hosted its annual mixed junior varsity golf invitational. The event has been renamed as the Jim Rafferty JV Golf Invite in honor of Addison Trail volunteer coach and friend Jim Rafferty, who passed away in December 2022.

The event took place at Salt Creek Golf Club in Wood Dale and was coordinated by Addison Trail Girls Golf Team Head Coach Stacey Puccini. The competition featured 87 golfers, who represented 16 teams from 12 Chicago-area schools.

The winning boys team was Evanston Township High School, and the winning girls team was Lake Park High School. Individual winners were Grant Duhr, a junior from Conant High School (with a score of 68), and Aubrey Haugh, a sophomore from Lake Park High School (with a score of 85).
