Addison Trail Boys Volleyball Team hosts fundraiser to support mental health

On April 19, the Addison Trail Boys Volleyball Team hosted a “Volley for NAMI” event, which featured a faculty match and an alumni match. See a photo gallery above.

The evening raised more than $1,800 through raffle baskets, concessions and donations. Half of the proceeds will be donated to NAMI DuPage, whose mission is to provide support, advocacy and education to improve the quality of life of individuals with mental illnesses and their families. The organization is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

Eighteen staff members and 14 alumni participated in the games, and you can view a list of the players at https://dupage88.net/site/public/files/?item=7235. The Addison Trail Boys Volleyball Team looks forward to continuing this annual event.
