See details below.

  • Feb. 22: The department will host an Open House from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with a counselor to discuss course selection for the 2024-25 school year. Families will receive an e-mail with details regarding how to schedule an appointment.

  • Feb. 22: The department will host a Freshman/Sophomore Postsecondary Planning Night to discuss career paths and postsecondary education options. We also will share tips to help students prepare for postsecondary education. This event will begin at 7 p.m., and families will receive an e-mail with more information.

  • March 6: The department will host its annual Evening College Fair to help students plan for their next step after high school. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Addison Trail field house and is open to all District 88 families and community members. Students/families from surrounding high schools also are welcome. We expect to have more than 50 colleges and universities from throughout the U.S. in attendance.

  • March 7: The department will host a Class of 2025 Postsecondary Planning Night. We will discuss career path options and the process of applying to postsecondary education institutions. This event will begin at 7 p.m., and families will receive an e-mail with more information.

As pupils begin the course-registration process for the 2024-25 school year, District 88 would like to remind students and parents/guardians about the various pathway opportunities available. We are focused on meeting the needs of all of our students and providing multiple and flexible pathways for them to find success after they graduate from District 88.
