Addison Trail recognizes AT’s Best
On April 3, a group of Addison Trail students was named as AT’s Best.
The AT’s Best award honors students who have achieved a “personal best.” The following categories have been used to recognize recipients: service, Blazer Pride, cooperation, dependability, initiative, leadership, humanitarian spirit or unique contributions. Students receive a pin or a T-shirt for their efforts.
AT’s Best recipients are:

- Sophomore Raina Ashrafi, junior Jack DiDomenic, junior Josephine Ficarra, junior Alexander Guerrero, junior Barbara Martinez, sophomore Alexandra Mertz, senior Stephanie Ortiz, senior Megan Sowa and freshman Mary-Terese Tamondong: Nominated by Addison Trail English teacher and Theatre Director Anna McSweeney for their work on the Theatre Board throughout the year.

- Senior Stephanie Ortiz: Nominated by Addison Trail English teacher Jessica Clark for her work (art and storytelling) in the Communication Studies class.

- Senior Benjamin Prine: Nominated by Addison Trail Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department Head Jennifer Kowalski for his passion for cooking and hard work in the Culinary Arts II class, as well as his ability to overcome obstacles.

- Seniors Eleni Asiuras, Ava Colella, Lorenzo Martinez-Almaraz, Leilani Nevado, Anna Olsen, Kate Padilla and Julissa Ramirez-Carbajal: Nominated by English teacher Patricia Subers for their work in the Advanced Placement (AP) English Literature and Composition class.
