Addison Trail students enhance their knowledge of Italian culture by visiting Eataly, an Italian marketplace in Chicago

On Feb. 23, 20 Addison Trail students who are enrolled in Advanced Placement (AP) Italian Language and Culture visited Eataly in Chicago.

During the field trip, students participated in a guided tour of the Italian marketplace (where they learned about the regions of Italy and types of olive oil, cheese, bread and more), sampled foods from the various regions, took a pasta-making class and enjoyed a family-style lunch in “La Scuola” (Eataly's cooking school). Students also created vlogs in Italian to document their experience. They later shared those videos with their classmates.
