Addison Trail’s Sew Crafty Club donates handmade dog toys to Second City Canine Rescue

On Oct. 5, 10 Addison Trail students who are part of the school’s Sew Crafty Club visited Second City Canine Rescue in Palatine (www.sccrescue.org).

The group was joined by Addison Trail Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department Head Jennifer Kowalski and Family and Consumer Sciences teacher/Sew Crafty adviser Bridget Colleran.

Sew Crafty is a new club at Addison Trail that provides students with dedicated time to sew and craft. The students made dog toys and donated them to Second City Canine Rescue.
