Village of Addison named as RWJF Culture of Health Prize winner by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Addison students invited to participate in logo-design contest to celebrate recognition

Attention, Addison students! Did you know your hometown of Addison has been named as a 2020-2021 RWJF Culture of Health Prize winner by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation?

The RWJF Culture of Health Prize honors and elevates U.S. communities working at the forefront of advancing health, opportunity and equity for all. For more information about the award, go to https://tinyurl.com/AddisonRWJF.

As students in Addison, you’re invited to participate in a contest to design a logo that shows the community what being a “culture of health” means to you as a youth in the village. See all the details below.

* Be sure to think outside the box! “Health” doesn’t just mean physical health – it also can refer to mental health, education, career opportunities, safety and support/equality/access for all residents. There are no limits, so be creative with your entry!

ENTRIES: Can be 2-D or 3-D, but a digital image of the entry must be submitted.

SUBMISSIONS: Will be judged, and the winning entry:

  • Will receive a $100 gift card.

  • Will become the village’s logo to promote its RWJF Culture of Health Prize designation. The winning image/logo will be printed on T-shirts that will be distributed during the Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade on Aug. 28.

  • All entries will be displayed during the celebration after the Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade on Aug. 28.
