Addison Trail students register to vote

On March 16, Addison Trail students and staff members had the opportunity to register to vote in the June 28 general primary election.

Members of the League of Women Voters helped with registration, and 23 students signed up.

A law signed by former Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn in 2013 allows 17-year-olds to cast a ballot in primary elections, as long as they’re 18 years old by the general election date.
