Five Addison Trail students qualify to compete in Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference

Five Addison Trail students have qualified to compete in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference.

Those students are (pictured above, from left to right):

  • Junior Natalia Dabrowska: Legal Office Procedures (1st place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Senior Nalysa Garcia: Legal Office Procedures (2nd place at the State Leadership Conference) and Business Law & Ethics (4th place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Junior Amalia Panos: ICD-10-CM Medical Diagnostic Coding: (5th place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Junior Yana Patel: Health Insurance & Medical Billing (4th place at the State Leadership Conference)

  • Junior Lindsay Stevenson: Health Insurance & Medical Billing (3rd place at the State Leadership Conference), Parliamentary Procedure Concepts (2nd place at the State Leadership Conference); Information Technology Concepts (5th place at the State Leadership Conference) and Management, Marketing and Human Resources Concepts (5th place at the State Leadership Conference)

This year’s event will take place from May 4 to 9, and the theme is “Envision, Empower, Ignite.” Competitions will be hosted virtually because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
