Addison Trail ACHIEVE Department

The ACHIEVE program allows us to better serve students who need more intensive academic, motivational and social-emotional supports. The ACHIEVE program began in fall 2012 and provides consistent and flexible programming for our most at-risk populations. Instruction is delivered using a combination of co-taught direct instruction and computer-based curriculum supplementation. Students have the opportunity to spend one to eight periods in the program, and alternative schedules (such as late day) are made possible based on student need.

The ACHIEVE program is designed to meet the following objectives:

Students are identified for ACHIEVE through the Student Screen Teams or Individualized Education Program Teams. For more information about whether your child would qualify for the program, contact Assistant Principal Iridia Nevarez-Niewinski at 630-628-3307.
