Counseling Corner: Addison Trail Guidance Department set to welcome class of 2024

The Addison Trail Guidance Department is excited to meet with members of the class of 2024 for course selection to help them with the transition to high school. Addison Trail Guidance Counselors will meet with incoming freshmen on the following times and dates.

• 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6
• 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8
• 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11
• 3 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 13

During our Course Information Night on Jan. 16, incoming freshmen should have received a folder to help complete the course selection process. For those who were unable to attend Course Information Night, extra folders should be available at your current school.

We ask that families complete and bring in the necessary documents for residency verification, as well as an official birth certificate (we will make a copy and return the original). Each family will meet with a counselor to discuss test scores and available classes and to ask any questions they might have about high school.
