On May 23, Addison Trail recognized and honored Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department Head Juliann Boudouris, who will retire at the end of this school year. Boudouris also is Addison Trail’s 2019 Outstanding Achievement Award recipient.

Boudouris joined the Addison Trail learning community in 1995, bringing nine years of experience from four school districts. She will retire having completed 33 years as an educator. Boudouris filled many roles in District 88, beginning with her role as a teacher in the Business Education Department. She served as the Business Professionals of America (BPA) sponsor and Work Program Coordinator for Office Education. Boudouris then took on a new role as the Business Education Department Head and later became the CTE Department Head.

Boudouris was recognized on May 23 because she was unable to attend the Student Recognition Assembly on May 2 and the Staff Recognition Dinner on May 3, as she was with several students who were competing in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) 2019 National Leadership Conference in California.
