The keynote speaker for the evening was School District U-46 Capital Strategy and Operations Officer Ann C. Williams, Ed.D., who presented on “The Formula Isn’t the Forecast.” The following is a description of the presentation from https://www.iasb.com/calendar/dupage-division-meeting.

“One county. Four EBF (Evidence-Based Funding) tiers. Forty-two different fiscal stories. What happens when state funding rises, federal support becomes less certain, enrollment falls, yet costs keep climbing? Using current data, recent legislative changes and real DuPage examples, Williams (revealed) what the formula cannot forecast and how fiscal impact planning can help boards preserve options, protect priorities and make decisions on their own terms.”
