Parents, caregivers invited to attend workshop focused on addressing teen substance use

The DuPage County Health Department is partnering with Juvenile Probation to offer an Empowering Parents Workshop, designed for parents and caregivers who are concerned about their teen’s substance use behaviors.

This 90-minute session aims to support positive teen behavior change, address substance use and help participants recognize early warning signs. The workshop also will equip parents with practical tools to boost confidence and reduce burnout.

The event includes a Narcan training, and attendees will have the opportunity to receive a resource book/guide, home drug-test kit, Narcan and a $20 gift card.
