On Jan. 19, the Willowbrook Boys Baseball Team will host a winter clinic for adults and children at Willowbrook’s field house.
Willowbrook coaches and players will walk participants through a series of drills that teach the techniques and skills used at the high school level.
From 9 to 11 a.m., a clinic will take place for players in third through fifth grades. From noon to 2 p.m., a clinic will take place for players in sixth through eighth grades. The clinics will focus on hitting, throwing and pitching. There also will be a question-and-answer session with Major League Baseball Pitcher Rob Scahill, a 2005 Willowbrook graduate.
Cost for the clinic is $25 for each child with an adult with early registration (before noon on Jan. 17); $30 for each child with an adult with day-of registration (at least 30 minutes before the clinic begins); and $30 for an adult with no child.
To register early, or for more information, e-mail Willowbrook Boys Baseball Coach Matt Scott at mscott@dupage88.net.
