Addison Trail students participate in ‘Case Study’ at College of DuPage to enhance knowledge of accounting

On April 25, five Addison Trail students participated in a “Case Study” event at College of DuPage (COD). They were accompanied by Addison Trail business education teacher Joe Mahoney.

The participants worked in small groups with first-year or second-year COD accounting students and were given two hours to analyze, problem solve and create a presentation for a panel of judges. The Addison Trail students who participated are sophomore Julieanna Horton, sophomore Jaquelyn Leyva, senior Viviana Rojas, sophomore Isabella Doudalis and sophomore Alessandra Pizzoferrato.

Participants also heard from the Northern Illinois University Chair in Accountancy, who discussed the field of accounting.
