Willowbrook hosts annual Student Art Show/Spring Art Exhibition

From April 21 to 25, the artistic talents of Willowbrook students were on display during the school’s annual Student Art Show/Spring Art Exhibition.

More than 200 pieces created by students were featured, and categories showcased included drawing, painting, mixed-media, photography, digital art, sculpture/jewelry, ceramics/pottery, graphic design, cartooning and animation.

During the reception on April 23, the following students were recognized:

Outstanding Students of the year: Senior Quinn Uczen, junior Josephine Parkinson, senior Peter Kabat and senior Olivia Romero

Outstanding Senior in Art: Nina Young

Best in Show: Junior Rebeca Timothee (for her ceramic plate with floral border)

Geri Greenman Art Award: Senior Olivia Romero (will be recognized during the Senior Recognition Assembly on May 1)

Robert Lee Fritz Art Award: Senior Nina Young (will be recognized during the Senior Recognition Assembly on May 1)
