On Oct. 26, District 88, District 45 and Salt Creek School District 48 hosted their annual Learning Compact Joint Board Meeting. That event is an opportunity for Board of Education members from the districts to come together and discuss important information taking place in each district, as well as issues facing public education.
This year’s event was hosted at Technology Center of DuPage (TCD), and TCD Executive Director Michael Fumagalli presented about “Preparing Students For What Comes Next.” To view a photo gallery, click on the images above.
During his presentation, Fumagalli provided data, information and trends regarding college and career readiness and the workforce. He also discussed the evolving postsecondary, occupational and economic landscape. Participants also learned about TCD and toured the building, which offers DuPage County-area high school juniors and seniors 17 Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs as part of their high school curriculum. See a list of those programs in the photo gallery above (the last image). For more information, go to https://www.tcdupage.org.
