District 88 presents about work-based learning during Lombard Chamber of Commerce event

On March 6, District 88 presented during the Lombard Chamber of Commerce’s AM Connect event. 

District 88 Assistant Superintendent for College and Career Readiness Yvonne Tsagalis, District 88 Director of Student Career Development Iridia Nevarez and District 88 Director of Community Relations Dani Brink shared a presentation titled “Building Futures Together,” which highlighted the variety of options available for local businesses to get involved and support students at Addison Trail and Willowbrook. Information included:

  • Benefits of partnering with District 88 to develop the future workforce
  • Ways you can get involved and support District 88 students, while benefiting your company
  • How District 88 is responding to workforce shifts to ensure students are college and career ready and prepared to accomplish their postsecondary goals
  • The college and career pathways/programs offered at District 88, which connect students to hands-on, immersive experiences, as well as certifications and credentials
