On Feb. 1, the West Suburban Conference Activities Directors and Principals hosted the second annual GRIT Award event at Main Event Entertainment in Warrenville. That program recognizes students in the conference who have made positive changes in their life for their dedication to improving their choices to help them be successful in school and beyond.

Recipients were given a certificate and also were able to invite a staff member who has helped them make better decisions. The three Willowbrook students below received the GRIT Award.

Willowbrook staff members who were invited by the students to attend the event are Matt Zaucha, David Fergerson and Maggie Lamb.
