Addison Trail Girls Volleyball Team to host fundraiser

You’re invited to get behind the wheel for a cause to raise money for the Addison Trail Girls Volleyball Team. The fundraiser will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the school, 213 N. Lombard Road in Addison.

Ford Motor Company and its dealers are working together to benefit communities nationwide. Drive 4 UR Community, designed to help raise much-needed funding for local community groups and nonprofit organizations, is similar in concept to Ford’s successful Drive 4 UR School initiative. To date, Ford dealerships throughout the U.S. have helped raise more than $30 million for local schools and nonprofits thanks to their hard work and partnership with the Drive 4 UR School and Drive 4 UR Community programs.

Roesch Ford in Bensenville is bringing Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR Community program to Addison in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for the Addison Trail Girls Volleyball Team. For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the team. The event will feature many vehicles from Ford’s lineup, and dealership staff will be on site to assist with all vehicles and to provide more information.

Participants must be 18 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. Test-drives are free and will last 7 to 10 minutes.
