Willowbrook presents students with Human Relations Award

On May 23, Willowbrook honored nearly 200 junior and senior students with the Human Relations Award.

That award was created by seven Willowbrook faculty members in 1993 to encourage and recognize student behaviors that promote good human relations at Willowbrook and in the community. Students who are honored with the Human Relations Award exemplify Willowbrook’s commitment to cultural diversity and human dignity through their interpersonal actions with others, regardless of race, religion, ethnic or socioeconomic background and physical or academic ability. Recipients were nominated by Willowbrook faculty and staff members for their outstanding character, sense of others and selfless behavior.
