Seventh annual Facial Hair February under way at Willowbrook

The 7th annual Facial Hair February is under way at Willowbrook!

Twenty-seven male staff members at the school have put down their razors for the month of February to raise money for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of District 88 All Youth, which will take place March 15 through 16 at Willowbrook.

The Facial Hair February winner will be chosen by students through donations. The staff member with the most money raised will be announced as the winner.

“I’m proud to say that through the past seven years, Facial Hair February has collected more than $21,000 for the American Cancer Society,” said Ryan Bazon, Facial Hair February coordinator. “This year, our goal is to raise $5,000. That shouldn’t be too hard, as we surpassed that amount last year.”

The 27 participants in this year’s Facial Hair February are Ryan Bazon, James Bolsinger, Steve Bridges, Earl Buckley, Christopher Carr, Matthew Clapper, Matt Cochran, Eduardo Delacruz, Erik Engel, John Epple, Benjamin Fenske, John Fouser, Nick Hildreth, Andrew Isaacson, James Kedvesh, Brett Maguire, Peter Montgomery, Jeremy Pack, Anthony Panatera, Michael Phillips, Bradley Schmit, Matt Scott, Gary Strzelczyk, Reed Sundberg, Neil Wahlgren, Matt Zaucha and Joshua Zwart.
