Willowbrook Athletics is proud to share Lillian Macias and Maggie Hurley, both from the class of 2027, have been named as the Anyway’s Athletes of the Month for June.
Name: Lillian Macias
Sport: Girls Flag Football
June successes: Macias delivered a stellar two-way performance for the Warriors during the 2026 Unrivaled Flag High School Girls Nationals, which took place on June 27 and 28 in Ohio. She helped guide her team to a 2-2 record against elite national competition. As the team’s leading receiver, Macias consistently created separation and made catches to keep critical drives alive. Name: Maggie Hurley

June successes: Hurley made a massive impact on and off the court this summer, highlighted by earning “Champion of the Camp” honors during Willowbrook’s Girls Volleyball Champ Camp. Hurley competed hard alongside her high school peers. She also served as a positive, energetic volunteer coach for the kids division, helping host a record-breaking 74 young campers. Her exceptional leadership was displayed during club competition as well, where she helped her team earn a 3rd-place finish at AAU Nationals.
