Willowbrook students participate in Midwestern University’s Health Sciences Career Day

On March 4, Willowbrook students participated in a Health Sciences Career Day at Midwestern University’s Downers Grove Campus (pictured above). Pupils who attended are enrolled in the school’s Medical Interventions PLTW course.

During the event, high school juniors and seniors rotated through hands-on workshops and tours to experience a variety of professions of medicine and other health care career opportunities.

Willowbrook students attended sessions on optometry, physical therapy, histology and ultrasound. They also visited the university’s Gross Anatomy Lab.
