Addison Trail students participate in career-exploration field trip to District Council Training Center

On Nov. 13, 13 students who are enrolled in Addison Trail’s From School to Work class traveled to the District Council Training Center in Addison. They were accompanied by Addison Trail Learning Services teacher Melissa Morales and teacher aides Alexia Gomez and Michael Utech.

During their visit, students participated in hands-on experiences and learned about the center’s apprenticeship programs, where individuals who are 18 years old and older can get paid while they receive on-the-job training.
