Willowbrook ready to celebrate Homecoming 2025
It’s nearly Homecoming time at Willowbrook, and this year’s theme is “A Night in the City.”
From Sept. 22 to 26, the school will celebrate with a variety of Homecoming activities. Below is the schedule of events.
Sept. 22:
- Theme: Pajama Day
Sept. 23:
- Theme: Meme Day (Dress up as your favorite meme – go viral – school appropriate, of course!)
Sept. 24:
- Theme: Reverse Day (Students dress like teachers, and teachers dress like students.)
- Evening Event: 6 to 8 p.m., Dodgeball tournament and bonfire
Sept. 25:
- Theme: Rhyme Without Reason (Pair up in the most random, rhyming outfits! Examples: “chef” and “ref;” “cowboy” and “soy.”)
- Evening Event: 6 p.m., Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Banquet at The Carlisle in Lombard (See details at https://www.dupage88.net/site/page/16996.)
Sept. 26:
- Theme: Class Colors Day
- Freshmen: White
- Sophomores: Silver
- Juniors: Black
- Seniors: Columbia Blue
- Day events:
- 1:50 p.m., Homecoming Pep Assembly
- 1:50 p.m., Homecoming Pep Assembly

- 4 p.m., Homecoming Parade: The route will begin at the Ruggard Gazebo (at Park Boulevard and Ardmore Avenue in Villa Park) and will end at the high school (1250 S. Ardmore Ave. in Villa Park). PLEASE NOTE: FROM ABOUT 4 TO 4:45 P.M. ON SEPT. 26, ARDMORE AVENUE WILL BE CLOSED FROM PARK BOULEVARD TO HIGHRIDGE ROAD FOR THE PARADE.
