Member of Willowbrook Flag Football Team receives special gift from Gatorade

On Sept. 9, Willowbrook junior Leigh Bernardo (pictured below) received a surprise visit and gift from Gatorade.

Bernardo was presented with the limited-edition drop “Gatorade x Kristin Juszczyk Bottle Capsule” for her effort, dedication and passion to flag football. According to https://www.gatorade.com/drops/kristin-juszczyk-bottle-capsule, “Our collaboration with Kristin Juszczyk celebrates inclusivity in football, with the goal of inspiring the next generation of athletes to play. The collab capsule showcases Kristin’s signature patchwork designs and Gatorade's iconic brand, with nods to flag football in the design.”
