Addison Trail hosts State send-off celebration for two members of Girls Wrestling Team

On Feb. 21, Addison Trail hosted a State send-off celebration for two members of the Girls Wrestling Team.

Junior Nina Matthews (pictured at left, 120-pound division) and senior Veronica Cosio (pictured at right, 105-pound division) will compete in the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) Girls Wrestling State Tournament. That event takes place on Feb. 23 and 24 at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.

The student-athletes were greeted and honored by their peers and Addison Trail staff members during a parade, as they marched through the hallways of the school behind the Addison Trail Drum Line.
