Willowbrook Guidance Department hosts fifth annual Career Day for students

On Jan. 16, the Willowbrook Guidance Department hosted the school’s fifth annual Career Day, in partnership with Junior Achievement of Chicago.

During that event, students were able to learn about various career options available to them. Nearly 20 career professionals presented to 64 classes, impacting more than 1,700 students. Pupils were able to hear directly from the speakers about their experiences and ask them questions about their respective field.

Professions represented included environmental sciences; law/police; game design, graphic design, photography, film, animation/VFX and recording arts; automotive and diesel technicians; engineer; local government; agriculture; medical/health and more.
