Six Willowbrook students named as ILMEA All-State Musicians

Six Willowbrook students have been named as All-State Musicians by the Illinois Music Education Association (ILMEA).

As All-State Musicians, they will perform during the Illinois Music Education Conference, which will take place from Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, 2020, at Peoria Civic Center. Those students are senior Emma Cismesia (Honors Chorus, Alto 1), junior Jenna Meola (Honors Chorus, Soprano II), junior Connor Staunton (Band, Bass Trombone), senior Emma Staunton (Honors Chorus, Alto II), sophomore Daniela Trimper (Band, Alto Sax) and junior Anna Tymoszenko (All-State Chorus, Alto II).

The pupils auditioned in October and were selected as All-District Musicians, and they have now received state-level recognition. For more information about the conference, go to www.ilmea.org/imec.
