District 88 honored with state-level INSPRA Distinguished Service Award for partnership with Elmhurst College

I’m proud to share District 88 was honored with a Distinguished Service Award (DSA) from the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (INSPRA) on May 10.

That statewide program recognizes public education advocates for their support of their local schools and districts. For more information about the DSA program, go to https://tinyurl.com/INSPRADSA.

We received an Award of Merit in the Team category for our partnership with Elmhurst College to provide two asynchronous math courses (an Asynchronous Calculus 3 Model and an Asynchronous College Algebra class) for District 88 students. Those courses give students at Addison Trail and Willowbrook the opportunity to earn college credit while in high school and are provided at no cost through the use of Title I funds.

I truly appreciate the passion and commitment of these honorees to our students. They are true examples of the partnerships that help our students succeed and allow us to accomplish our mission of working for the continuous improvement of student achievement. Thank you for your continued support of District 88.
