On Aug. 26, District 88 and Addison Trail participated in the Addison-Medinah Shriners Parade and Bicentennial Bash.

This was the first village-wide parade since 2008, and the theme was “Addison Celebrates the Illinois Bicentennial.” Addison Trail was well-represented, as members of the Marching Band, Color Guard, Orchesis Team, Cheerleaders, Blazettes, Football Team and Student Council marched and performed during the event.

District 88 Board of Education members Jay Irvin (Vice President) and Mark Turk also rode in the parade, along with District 88 Superintendent Dr. Scott Helton and Addison Trail Principal Michael Bolden. Roesch Ford in Bensenville provided the vehicles for the Board.

The district and school also had an informational booth during the Bicentennial Bash to share with community members the great successes and programs taking place in District 88. For more information, go to https://tinyurl.com/AddisonParade2018.
